Oh my. I had no idea they were advertised that low!!! What a gorgeous machine. I'd take this over any 911 or R8 or any other $150k car any day.

That is the best part about the Cord 810. They are desperately gorgeous and surprisingly cheap compared to most pre war classics

My uncle had that car or a similar model - trying to get my cousin to find a photo of it. It's Uncle Barry, his foot on the running board, with his arm around my aunt. If she finds it, you'll be the second to know.

My grandmother got one of these for her first car in 1944. I'm pretty sure she still has a photo of it somewhere (I definitely remember seeing a picture of it on her piano when I was younger). Apparently these were very unreliable cars in those days.

Oh no ... he's long gone, and so is the car. He was one of those guys who traded in every 2 years. The best car he had that I saw was a '68 Charger. Copper, black vinyl roof, whatever the biggest engine was. But 2 years later - gone.

I believe you can get the Beverly or Westchester sedans for well under $100,000. That's something that I expect will change within the next few years as the appreciating convertibles pull everything else up with them. Jay Leno bought a sedan because that was allegedly all he could find for sale when he was looking and he wanted it right away.
